Upstart news outlet *The Huntsvillan* launched on Sept. 21, promising new stories roughly every week, including news, features, and occasional commentary. A brief video unlocks each article. You will never have to pay anything to read an article in *The Huntsvillan*.

The next few weeks will feature articles about local pay raises, our local schools, the hospital bond, and the opening of Huntsville's newest art gallery, along with a bit of humor.
